Meet Christina
Hi! I’m glad you’re here. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over twenty years of experience providing therapy in New Jersey to adults. I help clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, academic stress, and major life transitions with clarity, resilience, and compassion.
I believe effective therapy is built on connection, understanding, and a supportive space where you can show up as you are. My goal is to help you feel seen, supported, and equipped with practical tools to create meaningful and lasting change.
As the owner of Cassidy Counseling, LLC, I provide individual therapy for clients facing a wide range of concerns, including but not limited to anxiety therapy, depression treatment, relationship issues, and stress related to school, work, or life transitions.
My clinical background includes private practice, hospital behavioral health (including inpatient eating disorder treatment), college mental health counseling, and community mental health settings working with individuals with co-occurring disorders. These experiences allow me to bring a broad and well-rounded perspective to my work as a therapist.
In my private practice, I offer therapy that is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your individual needs. I believe in a collaborative approach to therapy where we explore patterns, build on strengths, and set goals that feel realistic and meaningful to you.
My approach is person-centered and grounded in evidence-based therapy practices, including trauma-informed care. I bring empathy, curiosity, and steady support to help you work through both long-standing emotional challenges and current stressors.

A Little About Me Personally:
Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children, getting outdoors when I can, and finding creative outlets through photography, music, and reading. I also love relaxing with my dog and appreciating the quiet moments in between the busy ones.
